It’s friday and this week has passed by so fast. I feel like I always write that.. Well maybe it’s because I tend to do plenty of things, and the days are just a little short sometimes, to get all the tings I want into those 24 hours. This week I have prioritised spending time with family and friends since I was away last week, and because I am leaving again tomorrow.

Spending time travelling is fun but it also requires a lot of time resting and catching up. I want to feel that I have truly ’landed’ at home before I go again. This week I have spent a lot of time with Erik, without my phone or computer asking for attention. Today we went swimming after I picked him up from daycare. Those small things mean so much in the long run. One extra hour of total presence can work magic on the soul.

A short walk in this beautiful (and cold) weather also does wonder for the soul. Seeing the sun again after a long winter is always magic.

Work wise this week has been catching up on a lot of projects that got left hanging while I was in Stockholm. I always try to plan my time so that I can fit everything that I have to do even though I’m travelling. But then life happens, and kids happen, and it’s not so easy to plan and predict how things are going to work out. I rounded of this week by talking at a local Rotary lunch. I got to talk about social media marketing, how I run my business and why I do what I do. Me talking there drew a full house – and I came out of there with energy enough to provide a small city with lights for a full year. I want to talk more to people about these things! Want me to talk somewhere? Get in touch ♡

Tonight I’ve been packing my bags again, tomorrow I’m leaving for Åre.

I’ll spend three days at a workation together with Influencers of Sweden. Snowboarding, hiking, snowmobiling and spending time with people who do similar things that I do. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I look forward to these days. And the best part? I get to go snowboarding with an old friend of mine before it all starts.

Beautiful Gällivare and Dundret with a little sunshine.

Even though life might seem hectic right now to someone looking at it from the outside, I feel calmer than ever.

This Wednesday I turned 28 and I feel like this is my magic number. I am diving head first into things this year and still I feel safer, calmer and happier than ever. I feel like things are falling into place and I see the bigger picture better now than before.

I spent my 28th birthday in the best possible way – with friends and family. Today I read all the birthday wishes I got on Facebook and it is so fun reading them. You can say many things about social media, but I have to say that it is truly remarkable to read the birthday wishes from people all over the world. People that I worked with in Norway ten years ago, people that I met while in Thailand, people whom I met hiking, travelling, working or parents and relatives of old friends.

I am so grateful for all the people that I have met through my 28 years in life. All of you have taught me something. And maybe I have been able to give you something, too. For that, I am forever grateful!

Happy to turn 28 and happy after a great Friday! Follow me on Instagram if you want to see more of what I do in a week. ♡

Here’s to another year and getting one number closer to the dirty thirty!

Have an amazing weekend people! ♡
